Boss and mechanic notes
AAC Cruiserweight M2 has local boss notes for: Art at War: Sugar Riot. These notes are pulled from the local wiki and should be treated as source-backed prep unless separately marked as human-reviewed strategy.
- Mousse Mural: Party-wide magical damage.
- Single Style: One of several different attacks in which the boss will draw an object, each denoting an AoE.
- Paint Bomb: Bombs will land at the three yellow circle locations with orange tethers, each exploding as a large, late-telegraphed circle AoE (Burst).
- Heaven Bomb (bomb with wings): Bombs will initially land at the designated locations but jump forward approximately half the length of the arena relative to where they are facing before exploding. Stand near the bombs before they jump to avoid.
- Sweet Shot (arrows): Arrows will spawn at the locations outside of the arena and each use a late telegraphed line AoE (Rush) in front of them, leaving some open gaps.
- Throw-up Target (arrow on target): A bullseye will spawn. The boss will use Single Style again to summon arrows whose line AoEs will converge on the bullseye.
- Pudding Party: A 5-hit stack marker AoE on a random player, dealing magical damage.
- Color Riot: Telegraphed circle AoE tankbuster on both tanks, dealing magical damage. A different color attack (red: Warm Bomb; blue: Cool Bomb) will hit each tank, but this is inconsequential.
- Sugarscape: The boss will paint a desert landscape at the north of the arena, transforming the floor to sand.
- Layer: The boss will add a sun to the painting, giving all players a persistent Sweltering debuff during this phase, dealing minor damage-over-time (The scorching heat saps your strength...)
- Layer: The boss will add cacti to the painting, causing numerous sets of cacti to grow in random locations and explode as late telegraphed circle AoEs (Spray Pain) upon reaching maximal size.
- Layer: The boss will add a sand pit to the painting, causing a large whirlpool of quicksand to spawn in the middle, leaving the corners safe. Anyone who lingers in this for too long will receive a brief Six Fulms Under debuff and die. Afterwards, another quicksand pool will spawn in a different location, along with cacti on the other side.
- Mousse Touch-up: Spread marker AoE on each player, dealing magical damage.
- The arena will revert back with another cast of Mousse Mural.
