Dungeon quick facts
In the days following the Calamity, western Coerthas was abandoned by the knights of Ishgard, save for the Dusk Vigil, whose defenders refused to withdraw. Since then, the fortress has only fallen further into disrepair, and her garrison has long since been presumed dead. Unlike most Ishgardians, who would sooner put the tragic episode behind them, Father Wealdtheow would have you enter the forsaken fortress and reclaim a priceless treasure: an ice rondel set in the crown of a sculpture within the vigil's chapel. A simple request, perhaps, but if experience has taught you anything, such tasks are anything but...

Boss and mechanic notes
The Dusk Vigil has local boss notes for: Towering Oliphant, Ser Yuhelmeric, Opinicus. These notes are pulled from the local wiki and should be treated as source-backed prep unless separately marked as human-reviewed strategy.
- Rear - Circle AoE around the boss.
- Prehistoric Trumpet - Room-wide attack.
- Rock of Ages - targets a random player and inflicts Down for the Count on them, then follows up with Wooly Inspiration.
- Wooly Inspiration - frontal cone directed at the player that Rock of Ages hit. This attack pulls players closer to the boss, then Stuns and launches them. This is followed up by another Rock of Ages on a random player, then Rout.
- Rout - line AoE directed at the player that the preceding Rock of Ages hit. This attack is actually a stack - one of the party can stand between the Oliphaunt and the targeted player to share the damage.
- Tumulus - Circle AoE around the boss.
- Brain Drain- Room-wide attack that also summons adds. This attack is cast at specific HP thresholds, and summons different adds at each threshold. Keep the boss away from the adds and kill them quickly, as they can give the boss buffs at close range.
- At 90% HP, summons 2 melee adds (red weapons).
- Red enemies cast Rictus, a circle AoE around themselves that will give the boss a stacking Damage Up if he touches it.
- Red adds can also cast Overturn (large cone AoE); Iron Tempest (large circle AoE), Dead Alive (makes the add deal crits for 10 seconds), and Widowmaker (strong but small cone AoE).
- At 60% HP, summons 2 caster adds (blue weapons).
- Blue enemies cast Lifeless Wind, a circle AoE around themselves that will give the boss a stacking Haste buff if he touches it.
- Blue adds can also cast Blizzard (circle AoE), Black Eruption (circle AoE that inflicts Heavy), and Dark Blizzard III (circle AoE that inflicts Bind)
- At 40% HP, summons 2 melee adds and 2 caster adds.
