Boss and mechanic notes
AAC Heavyweight M1 has local boss notes for: Sweet-toothed Sadist: Vamp Fatale. These notes are pulled from the local wiki and should be treated as source-backed prep unless separately marked as human-reviewed strategy.
- Killer Voice: Magical raid-wide damage.
- Half Moon: The boss will point her orb to one side of the arena, indicating a late-telegraphed half-room cleave to her left or right. This is immediately followed by a half-room cleave in the opposite direction.
- Vamp Stomp: A telegraphed large circle AoE in the middle of the room. The boss will also summon several bats that will begin rotating, but are harmless to touch. However, after the AoE goes off, an expanding ring from the center will appear. When it reaches a bat, they will explode in large late-telegraphed circle AoEs. First, the two middle bats will explode, then three more bats, and finally the five outer bats.
- Hardcore: Telegraphed AoE magical tankbusters hitting both tanks.
- Sadistic Screech: Magical raid-wide damage and destroys the left and right column of the arena, leaving a 2x4 region safe.
- An initially untargetable Coffinmaker will spawn in the north row. Contacting the ground it is on will result in death.
- Destroy the coffinmaker! The Coffinmaker will become targetable and will periodically move forward one row with Dead Wake. It must be destroyed before it consumes all of the tiles. Vamp Fatale will become untargetable as well.
- During this, it will use Coffinfiller, spawning telegraphed line AoE sets, with each line covering a quarter of the arena.
- Flaying Fry and Dead Wake: Vamp Fatale will target each party member with a telegraphed spread AoE dealing magical damage. In addition, the Coffinmaker will charge forward one row, leaving 2x2 remaining tiles.
- Penetrating Pitch and Dead Wake: Vamp Fatale will target each healer with a stack marker dealing magical damage and Magic Vulnerability Up, making overlap lethal. In addition, the Coffinmaker will charge forward one row, leaving 2x1 remaining tiles.
- The Coffinmaker will use Coffinfiller again but combined with Vamp Fatale's Half Moon half-room cleaves, so players should look behind to observe her animation. The second set of Coffinfiller AoEs resolve with the follow-up Half Moon AoE.
- If the Coffinmaker was successfully defeated, Vamp Fatale will become targetable again and gain Directional Disregard.
- Afterwards, she will use Sadistic Screech, dealing raid-wide magical damage and restoring the arena while losing Directional Disregard.
- Crowd Kill: Magical raid-wide damage and the boss gains a stack of Satisfied, increasing her damage dealt.
