Unmaking

Dawntrail

Overview

Borne by the key on a gleaming golden path, you emerge onto the red moon into the midst of carnage. Your faithful allies of the Thirteenth, Zero and Golbez, battle tirelessly to drive back hordes of voidsent, all the while watched by a sinister form in the dark. Wielding the boundless power of the void, the dread sovereign Enuo has risen from depths unfathomable, intent on reducing all existence to still, silent nothingness. Will their bleak vision of a world unmade be realized? Or will life and Light prevail?

Strategy Notes

  • Players may fall off the edge of the arena to their deaths. Being hit by avoidable AoEs will result in a 1 minute stacking Vulnerability Up debuff.
  • During this phase, the room is much larger, and players cannot fall off the edge.
  • The boss's attacks are similar to those in phase 1 but with some additional components.
  • Phase 1 and 2 mechanics then repeat until the boss is defeated.

Boss Encounters

Sovereign of Naught: Enuo

  • Meteorain: Party-wide magical damage.
  • Naught Grows: The boss faces the voidgate in the background and tethers it with blue arrows, indicating a large late-telegraphed point-blank AoE centered on the portal. Move away from it.
  • Gaze of the Void, the boss summons ten orbs around it in a clockwise pattern. The first two orbs will have the last two orbs beneath them. The orbs will each use an untelegraphed frontal conal AoEs in the order they spawn, starting from the glowing orb. Rotate close to the middle to dodge the AoEs, keeping in mind that the first two sectors hit will be hit again later.
  • Deep Freeze: Flare markers on each tank, dealing magical damage.
  • Naught Hunts: Tethers two random players to small portals, which will them follow them and leave a trail of untelegraphed circle AoEs (Endless Chase). Being hit by these does not inflict Vulnerability Up.
  • Naught Hunts Another: The AoEs will begin chasing two other players, indicated by the players tethered to the original targets.
  • Shrouded Holy: Targets a healer with a stack marker AoE, dealing magical damage.
  • Meltdown: Spawns a baited circle AoE telegraph at each player's position, then marks each player with a spread marker AoE dealing magical damage.
  • Vacuum: Spawns eight curved line AoEs of various lengths. The tip of each AoE will spawn a dark orb that will do a late-telegraphed point-blank AoE.
  • All for Naught: The boss jumps to the north of the arena and gains Directional Disregard, then becomes untargetable and begins an adds phase.
  • The void's power ravages your corporeal form. All players will be inflicted with Unbecoming, dealing minor damage-over-time during this phase.
  • A proximity AoE telegraph (Looming Emptiness) and multiple circle AoEs will appear. The proximity AoE will spawn a large Looming Shadow add that tethers the main tank, while the other AoEs will each spawn an Uncast Shadow add. All adds must be defeated before Power of the Void duty gauge reaches 100, or the party will wipe.
  • Nothingless: The Uncast Shadows will use telegraphed line AoEs.
  • Upon attacking an add, the combat message Enuo's power is waning! will appear.
  • After all adds are defeated, a Beacon in the Dark add will appear, indicated by a ray of light. The party must head over to it while dodging more Nothingless line AoEs and defeat the add before the duty gauge reaches 100, after which a cutscene will play.
  • Lightless World: A six-hit raid-wide AoE dealing massive damage. Players must stand behind Zero's Passage of Arms AoE to survive.
  • Naught Grows: The voidgate will tether the boss with arrows directed towards Enuo, indicating a large late-telegraphed point-blank AoE centered on Enuo.
  • Almagest: Party-wide magical damage.
  • The vacuums grow in number... Another portal will spawn opposite the existing one to be used in mechanics.
  • Naught Grows: One voidgate will show arrows through the boss and directed to the other portal, indicating two point-blank AoEs, one centered on Enuo and the other on the destination portal.
