Overview
Ameliance Leveilleur is a Wildwood Elezen character in Final Fantasy XIV, affiliated with the scholarly city-state of Sharlayan. The wife of Forum representative Fourchenault Leveilleur and daughter-in-law of the legendary Louisoix, she is the warm and resourceful mother of twins Alphinaud and Alisaie. Though she operates largely behind the scenes, Ameliance proves to be one of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn's most consequential supporters, funding their operations with quiet generosity and a talent for navigating institutional constraints.

Early Life and Education
Ameliance spent her formative years studying at the Studium, Sharlayan's prestigious academic institution, where she crossed paths with the man who would become her husband. Her relationship with Fourchenault Leveilleur blossomed during their time there, and the two wed after completing their studies. Together they raised a pair of twins, Alphinaud and Alisaie, in the Leveilleur household.
When her children eventually departed for Eorzea, Ameliance remained a devoted and attentive presence from afar. She read every letter Alphinaud sent home and, upon learning that the twins had joined the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, quietly began directing funds toward the organization to support their work.
Role During the Endwalker Crisis
Following the Forum's decision to acquit the Warrior of Light and the Scions of trespassing charges in Sharlayan, Ameliance wasted little time introducing herself to the group. She extended an invitation to the Leveilleur estate, timing the visit deliberately for when Fourchenault was occupied elsewhere, and instructed her household staff to keep the visit discreet.
At the estate, she presented her children with new garments and gifted Alphinaud both a Sage Soul Crystal and his father's old weapons. She spoke warmly of the Warrior, noting how prominently they had featured in her children's correspondence, and asked them to continue watching over Alphinaud and Alisaie. It was later revealed that Ameliance had been the Scions' primary financial backer for some time, having personally funded major operations — including the procurement of refined Allagan Adamantite — entirely without her husband's knowledge. She justified this by reasoning that transporting the family's wealth off-world would be impractical, and that allowing the funds to support a worthy cause was simply sensible. This arrangement also allowed her to preserve the outward appearance of Sharlayan neutrality.
Philanthropy and the Education Initiative
With Sharlayan reopening its gates to the wider world, Ameliance turned her attention to new opportunities for cultural exchange and support. Over afternoon tea with Rowena and F'lhaminn Qesh, she outlined plans to fund international students seeking to study in Sharlayan and to provide housing for a young Thavnairian alchemist named Mildaeen. Taking an immediate liking to the girl, Ameliance ensured she had access to quality tools, alchemical materials, and even learned to prepare Hannish cuisine so that Mildaeen could enjoy familiar food while far from home.
The Warrior of Light assisted in gathering and crafting the materials needed to sustain both the education program and Mildaeen's comfort throughout her studies. When Mildaeen's semester concluded, she returned to express her gratitude, demonstrating newly developed alchemical skills and healing magic. She credited Ameliance's encouragement and genuine warmth with giving her the confidence to push beyond her own expectations.
Personality
Where Fourchenault is measured and austere, Ameliance is radiant, welcoming, and disarmingly playful. She is a devoted mother who continued to embrace her twins even after Fourchenault disowned them, and her steady counsel ultimately helped soften his rigid stance. She eagerly reads every letter her children send, aware that they omit certain details to spare her worry, yet perceptive enough to recognize how much they have grown through their experiences.
Ameliance possesses a remarkable gift for working within — and around — institutional boundaries. She maintained the appearance of Sharlayan impartiality while covertly bankrolling the Scions, a feat that speaks to both her intelligence and her pragmatism. Her household staff regard her with deep loyalty, in part because she treats them as family and freely shares news of her children's adventures with them. She welcomed the Warrior of Light as though greeting a long-known friend, and reportedly would have happily folded them into the family entirely, were it not for the considerable paperwork such a gesture would entail.
Relationships
Despite their contrasting temperaments, Ameliance and Fourchenault share a genuinely close marriage. She understands him well enough to work around his stubbornness rather than against it, and her influence quietly shapes outcomes he might otherwise have resisted. In-Game Availability
Ameliance became available as a Custom Delivery NPC beginning in patch 6.1. Players who have completed the Endwalker main scenario and the prerequisite quest chain can unlock her deliveries by speaking with a well-dressed attendant in Old Sharlayan. Weekly deliveries are made at the Leveilleur Estate, rewarding crafting and gathering scrips alongside experience and gil. Raising her satisfaction to its maximum level unlocks the ability to apply glamours to her appearance.
