Overview
The grand champion has condemned your crusade to abolish the use of feral souls, well aware that the outcome of your clash will decide the Arcadion's future. All of Alexandria now watches with great anticipation, eager to see if the unenhanced warrior will usher in a revolution─or if the Tyrant's reign will rage on.
Strategy Notes
- Please note that players may fall off the edge of the arena to their deaths. Being hit with any avoidable AoEs will inflict a stack of Vulnerability Up, along with possibly other effects.
- Mechanics then repeat until then boss is defeated.
Boss Encounters
Iron Fist: The Tyrant
- Crown of Arcadia: Physical raid-wide damage.
- Draw Steel: The boss equips a weapon (either a scythe, axe, or sword), denoting a late-telegraphed AoE when he uses Smashdown.
- Scythe: Donut AoE (inside hitbox safe).
- Axe: Point-blank AoE (slightly outside max melee range safe).
- Sword: A plus-shaped AoE relative to where he is facing.
- Void Stardust: Gives each player a purple spread AoE marker with an arrow, indicating that each player will be hit three times with an AoE. Each hit will leave behind a circle AoE telegraph of the same size, which should be avoided.
- The boss will use a sword Smashdown afterwards, so it is possible that the plus AoE will be at an angle if the boss was turned during the previous mechanic.
- Trophy Weapons: Summons a sword, axe, and scythe at various locations.
- Assault Evolved: The boss tethers one weapon, which forms a chain with all weapons. This indicates that the boss will jump to the tethered weapon, perform its relevant AoE at that location, then jump to the next weapon until all three have resolved. Keep in mind where the boss faces for the sword AoEs.
- Raw Steel Trophy: The boss equips a sword, indicating mechanics for Dance of Domination.
- Dance of Domination: Eight hits of physical raid-wide damage and leaves behind white gashes on the floor, which will explode as wide late-telegraphed line AoEs. The middle of the two large triangles is safe.
- Raw Steel Trophy: The boss equips an axe, indicating mechanics for Dance of Domination.
- Raw Steel: A split-damage physical tankbuster targeting the off-tank, and spread AoE markers on all non-tanks.
- Charybdistopia: Reduces everyone's HP to 1.
- Ultimate Trophy Weapons: Will begin spawning weapons at various locations in sequence.
- Assault Apex: The boss jumps to the weapons in the order they spawn and executes the relevant AoE. Unlike with Assault Evolved, there are no tethers. Weapons that have wind around them will leave behind a whirlwind after they resolve, which should be avoided.
- The two whirlwinds will then use two sets of telegraphed conal AoEs covering the entire arena.
- Immortal Reign: The boss empowers himself visually but this cast has no functional effect.
- One and Only: High physical raid-wide damage with a slow cast.
- Meteorain: Spawns four towers, two in melee range and the other two further way, at the intercardinals. Each must be taken by at least one player. The towers deal physical damage (Cosmic Kiss) and leave behind a rock for later.
