Overview

Upon claiming the Tyrant's crown, you are escorted to the uppermost floor of the Arcadion, where you are at last granted an audience with the president. Yet what meets your eyes is the horrific sight of his soul-imbued form─the serpentine Lindwurm. Arrayed behind him is a sickening display of the fallen immortalized, sacrifices in the president's bid to create a fighter who could contend against him. Now, the stage is set─to avenge the victims of his sinister script and rise to become the true grand champion, you must stop the president once and for all!

Strategy Notes

  • Players may fall off the arena to their deaths. Being hit with any avoidable AoEs will inflict a stack of Vulnerability Up, along with possibly other effects.
  • The boss will auto-attack both tanks.
  • After the boss's HP is reduced to 0, it will revive with full health but with a much lower HP pool.
  • Phase 2 mechanics then repeat until the boss is defeated.

Boss Encounters

Glory Incarnate: The Lindwurm

  • The Fixer: Magical raid-wide damage.
  • Bloodshed: One of its arms will enlarge and transform into a dragon head.
  • Serpentine Scourge: A late-telegraphed half-room cleave hitting the side containing the transformed arm. Has a fast cast.
  • Ravenous Reach: The boss's transformed arm will lengthen and move above the left or right side of the arena, indicating that it will use a late-telegraphed wide conal AoE hitting in front of it. Get behind the arm to avoid.
  • After this, the arm will return to normal and leave behind flesh puddles at various locations. The puddles will enlarge and then explode as late-telegraphed circle AoEs (Burst).
  • Cruel Coil: Pulls all players to the middle of the room and inflicts a 5-second bind. The boss will jump on the arena and spawn a circle AoE telegraph in the middle, then begin rotating. Players must escape the middle through the opening, which will periodically rotate. The boss's body is impassable. The opening will always face near the corners of the arena and will rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise per spin. The boss will spin three times before crushing and killing anyone (Constrictor) still inside the AoE telegraph.
  • Visceral Burst: Telegraphed magical AoE tankbusters hitting both tanks.
  • After another Bloodshed and Serpentine Scourge, the boss will use Grotesquerie, giving all players a 28-second Bursting Grotesqurie debuff, which will target them for a spread AoE (Dramatic Lysis). The telegraph will appear a few seconds before the timer expires.
  • Splattershed: Magical raid-wide damage. Both of the boss's arms will also enlarge and transform.
  • Feral Fission: Spawns multiple circle AoE telegraphs (Grand Entrance), indicating where snakes will travel through the arena floor.
  • Bring Down the House: The sections of the arena with snakes will be destroyed, killing anyone on them. This leaves behind four alternating rectangles. Each player will also be inflicted with Fate of the Wurm, preventing jumping.
  • The equator of the arena will be repaired, allowing the party to traverse between the rectangular segments.
  • Two dragon heads will appear in front or behind two of the segments, indicating late-telegraphed line AoEs hitting those sections, leaving half the room safe.
  • Venomous Scourge (no cast bar): Each player is targeted with a magical spread AoE marker.
  • Grotesquerie: Now gives each player a 7-second Flesh Forward or Flesh Back , along with a 32-second Directed Grotesquerie debuff pair. One player will also receive a 16-second Shared Grotesquerie debuff.
  • When Flesh Forward / Back resolves, each player will be knocked approximately half the arena length in the direction of the arrows underneath them. Use knockback resist or position to avoid being knocked off the arena.
  • When Shared Grotesqurie resolves, the target player will be hit with a split-damage AoE dealing magical damage (Fourth-wall Fusion). They will receive a stack marker telegraph a few seconds before their debuff resolves. This is combined with a Ravenous Reach cleave from the boss.
  • Afterwards, the arena will be restored, and exploding flesh puddles will spawn.
  • When Directed Grotesqurie resolves, each player will emit a narrow conal AoE in front, behind, to the left, or to the right of them. Telegraphs will appear a few seconds before these resolve.
  • Mechanics then repeat with some new combinations:
