Overview
Since the Sharlayan exodus, a structure has stood steady against the flow of the Thaliak River. Now, the Illuminati have summoned a primal around this rusting ruin─a terrible colossus of steam and metal. Steel screamed against steel when it rose from the waters, and it drank deep of the land's aether before grinding again to a halt. The voices of Idyllshire cry out, asking for aid ere their homes are crushed under the weight of iron. You must lead a band of valiant adventurers into the machina and discover how to destroy the core─lest the giant screeches again to life, and bleeds all the realm dry.
Strategy Notes
- The party will navigate through a short "maze" at the start of the instance consisting of a semi-random arrangement of metal blocks. The blocks will occasionally emit steam around them that will deal a small amount of damage and knock back nearby players (which is more annoying than dangerous). This can be mitigated with knockback immunities such as Arm's Length and Surecast.
- All DPS should focus Faust down and ignore the adds. The off tank should pick up all the adds as they spawn and keep them away from the raid as they cleave. Uses Kaltstrahl.
- You should tank Oppressor in the south side of the room for a later mechanic. This fight is split into 2 phases.
- Gunnery Pod - Unavoidable AoE, heal through.
- Photon Spaser - Large Linear AoE, avoid.
- Hydrothermal Missile - Puts Prey on a random party member and bombards them with several missiles, healers need to heal the player through this.
